Challenge 4: How I used training sessions to build trust between two teams
When Muaban requested UX training, I expanded it from four sessions to include their SEO and PM teams, using it as an intentional chance to break the ice between two groups still building trust.
Training created a safe space normal meetings lack. Members could ask openly without fearing it would reflect on their performance. I used that environment to establish shared UX fundamentals so all members understood the rationale behind decisions on UX and product. It also gave me a natural platform to show how I work: how I prioritize tasks, handle ambiguity, and what I expect from collaboration.
That training built connections which let meetings run more smoothly because everyone shared a common framing and knew they could ask questions without judgment.
